Soz....I skipped my tutorial and lecture on monday... Basically I didn't go to school. Instead, I went to SSDC to book my FTT. LOL...
Hmm... reached there at 12.30pm.... saw the ticket machine and there's like 4 options... one of them is to apply for PDL, the other is the conversion of license etc. So I pressed option 4 which is general enquiry and sat at the chair waiting for my number to be called. My number was G021 which look like GOAL. lol.. just kidding... There's only 2 counter and I am still waiting.... I waited for an hour but still, my number wasn't called.
Perhaps they think that general enquiry is not important at all... they seem to give priority to those applying for PDL etc students... and all the students there are Indians and China people... I am not really racist against them but frankly speaking, I have never seen an Indian applying for PDL at CDC. I only get to see them at SSDC.

So erm... the time was 2pm and my number is called. I waited for 1.5 hours just to ask them to print my BTT results so that I can book my FTT... lol....
went up to level 3 and took a queue number again. Guess what? I am served within 5 mins.
So I booked my FTT on 11th August at 2pm and I will try my best to pass it this time.
Hmm.... driving isn't as easy as I expect... perhaps I underestimated it.

Attended finance tutorial today and walked to the bus-stop to go home after that. Met Yuwen and we went to Farrer park to eat... Hmm... ate curry rice at one shop and it's very delicious... but it's a little expensive though...lol... my plate of curry rice with chicken cutler and fishball cause me $3.70 and Yuwen ordered some meat and his was $4.50.
Went to city square mall after that... hmm... today is the first time I shop at city square mall..lol... never go there before... so erm... ate some ice-cream... and went to play arcade..
Yuwen was telling me to play a car game called battle-gear...forgot what number of battle gear was it but the special thing about this machine is that there is a clutch pedal. So basically if you select your car to be a manual car, you have to treat it like a real life car.
To change gear, release the accelerator pedal, depress the clutch pedal fully and change your gear. After changing gear, release the clutch pedal by half and depress the accelerator pedal. This is what we call the 'biting point' when you depress your clutch pedal by half only. Well... if you release the clutch pedal by more than half or release it too suddenly, your engine will stall.... so I was like erm.. how ah? lol...
Luckily this is just a game... the engine won't stall.

Soz... after playing a game of this, yuwen asked me what have I learnt... I didn't know what to answer.... but I know the answer.... that is I learn nothing... that's what most people say when you ask them what have you learnt after you drive in real life.
In theory they say to change lane, you check your mirror, signal then check your blind spot and change lane.
But in practical, things are not as simple as it seems... you check your blind spot by turning your head to your left over your shoulder... but when you do that, you are not seeing what's happening in front. If the car in front of you jam brake, good luck to you...
Stopping distance = reaction distance + braking distance.

Anyway.. let's not talk about car anymore..lol... I have stopped betting ever since the match of Spain vs paraguay... and WOOSH!!! I won this match... thanks to David villa who scores the goal at the 80+ mins.
I remembered someone telling me 'no matter how you bet, Singapore pools will always be the biggest winner. You can win now.. you can win bit by bit.. but when you lose, you lose all your profit... and end up facing a loss. So there's 2 ways to earn money. 1st, go be a bookie. 2nd, once you are having a profit, you stop gambling.' which is why I chose the 2nd one...LOL...

Netherlands vs Uruguay... I think Netherlands will win... but that's what I think... some of my friends bought Netherlands win... some of my friends also bought Uruguay win because of the odds. Some bought guess the score. Holland 2-1 Uruguay... hoping for the same score for the 4th time.

Germany vs Spain.... I think Germany will win.... that's because I support Germany... but this will not be an easy game for the germans.... Spain is tougher than England and Argentina. Perhaps both teams will be more defensive... perhaps germany will allocate 2 men to mark David villa and spain will allocate 2 men to mark Klose. The ball is round...... sometimes, things just don't happen according to what we expect.

Oh... the holland vs uruguay is starting in 10 mins time... got to watch it at Channel 5.. cya... take care everyone...
